Catherine A. Solheim, Ph.D. is Professor, Director of Graduate Studies at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities Department of Family Social Science . She is the National Council on Family Relations of International Federation for Home Economics. Her primary research interests are: financial training of families, financial literacy, refugee families’ well-being and adaptation. Catherine A. Solheim is the Principal and Co-principal Investigator of numerous projects concerning various social items like refugees’ life, promoting social justice and health for immigrants. She is the author of about one hundred scientific works which include 3 manuscripts under review, referred articles, TV and radio interviews, etc. Her teaching and mentoring activity is also very rich in number and she took part in numerous media publications and interviews. Catherine A. Solheim is the author of several encyclopedia entries and strategic leadership papers and the owner of many grants and scholarships, current Mentor at National Council on Family Relations Academy.
